Another easy homemade “fast food” dinner for families on the go!
These brisket sandwiches cook in the crockpot all day so that you can quickly put together plates or meal containers for everyone to eat in the car or at their events.
In the morning, I put a corn beef brisket in the crockpot with beef broth and a bottle of red wine. The alcohol cooks off, but the wine tenderizes the meat and makes it fall apart into strips. So good!!! I love this one because with St. Patty’s day, you can stick up on corn beef brisket while it is on sale so you can make these meal easily whenever you need a quick dinner that everyone loves!
Then, right before getting everyone, I put the brisket on sandwich buns with two sides. Here I have blue corn chips and carrots, but your kids may enjoy fruit, pretzels, popcorn, nuts and raisins, or Paleo snack bars like Caveman bars.
